I just got some old film rescanned along with the new stuff I've been making.
This gif is from my first silent black and white film. Looking back, I'm pretty sure I've always been a channel but never knew it.
I wasn't into spirituality at all back then but the idea just came to me and "seemed cool" at the time. It ended up being about all these concepts I have a conscious understanding of now but in those days I was pretty clueless. I'm happy it still managed to find a way to flow through though and it turned out to be prophetic for me in many ways.
I promise I hadn't (and still haven't) seen π. I definitely took some visual inspiration from Requiem though ;)
Maybe one day I'll post it for fun.
